Professional Pathway Overview

The Professional Pathway supports qualified professionals who work with children who are deaf or hard of hearing to develop their clinical competence in AVT over time. Not every professional entering Pathway 2 will pursue LSLS certification. The pathway supports progressive development in AVT practice, from stronger foundational knowledge and application to increasing clinical reasoning, autonomy and confidence. Over time, this can support progression towards more advanced levels of professional practice and specialist certification.
